I am a lifestyle and documentary photographer. Every session is personal for me and intentional from start to finish. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I create imagery that is honest and enduring. I believe the best image is not always the perfect one. It is the one that makes you feel something when you look at it.
Whether we are on the beach at Isle of Palms as the sun goes down, wandering the historic streets of downtown Charleston, or capturing your brand in the places where you work, I photograph rhythm and energy as it occurs. Sometimes directed by me and many times candid and unscripted.

It is a perfect opportunity for senior portraits unlike any others back home, romantic proposals, or family sessions. Everyone is at their best while on vacation, and that energy shows in the final images. The experience is more than just a photo shoot. It is a highlight of the trip itself.
Charleston has the marshes, the open shoreline, and the live oaks. It also has centuries of history, colorful homes, and architecture layered on top of itself. Not many places have both. The light here ties it all together in a way that makes every session feel different.

Documentary: Completely unscripted. I stay close, move with you, and photograph what actually happens. No posing, no direction, no interrupting the moment.

My Favorite Approach, A Blend of Both: I direct and prompt for a small portion of the session then step back and let life happen. We plan what we will do together so I can photograph everything from meaningful moments to ordinary everyday life.
